These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SaidSo.co and the SaidSo SMS-based agreement confirmation service, operated by SaidSo LLC. By using SaidSo — via SMS or the web dashboard — you agree to these Terms.

SaidSo is an SMS-based tool that helps parties confirm informal agreements via text message. When both parties reply to confirm, SaidSo generates a timestamped record of the agreed terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use SaidSo. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into agreements in your jurisdiction.

By texting SaidSo at 815-572-4376 (815-SAID-SO), you consent to receive SMS messages related to your agreements, including confirmations, summaries, and status updates.

You agree not to use SaidSo to:

• Confirm agreements for illegal goods, services, or activities
• Harass, threaten, or defraud other parties
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Send spam or unsolicited messages through our system
• Attempt to circumvent or reverse-engineer the service

We reserve the right to terminate access for any user who violates these Terms.

SaidSo stores confirmed agreement records associated with the phone numbers of participating parties. Both parties can view these records via the web dashboard or the short URL provided at confirmation.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide. SaidSo records what parties communicate — we do not verify the identity, qualifications, or intentions of any party.

The SaidSo name, logo, platform, and associated content are owned by SaidSo LLC. You retain ownership of any content you submit. By submitting content, you grant SaidSo a limited license to store and display it as part of delivering the service.

SaidSo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that SMS messages will be delivered in all circumstances, or that agreement records will be legally enforceable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SaidSo LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Illinois.

We may update these Terms and will provide notice of material changes via SMS or a notice on saidso.co. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
